Preparing For The Spring Gardening Season

One winter gardening task is to clean, sharpen and organize your tools so all is ready for that first day out in your plant beds.

One of the best ways to get through the cold, gray days of winter is to think about spring. That comes easier for gardeners, who spend January and February planning and preparing their gardens, buying seeds, cleaning and sharpening tools and taking horticulture classes.

Joining us with suggestions on how to get ready for spring and to answer your gardening questions are Horticulture Agent Sarah Stolz; Peter Huttinger, director of the Community Garden Program and co-overseer of ; and Horticulture extension agent David Koester.
