More than 40 artists from two dozen countries are on display at the for the exhibit . Textile artist Bisa Butler is one of them. She depicts images of people pulled from archival photographs, sewn into African fabrics such as Kente cloth.
Dress Up, Speak Up: Regalia and Resistance is on display through May 2020. Joining Cincinnati Edition to discuss the group exhibition are artist Bisa Butler; and 21C Museum Hotel Director and Chief Curator Alice Gray Stites.
